Temporary custody order and child support

Q:  If I get temporary custody of my son do I still have to pay child support.

A: David's Answer:  No - if the temporary order is phrased as you having primary residential custody (as opposed to shared custody) then you do not pay child support. You may, however, still need to pay your share of unreimbursed medical, educational and/or child care expenses.
