Joint custody

Q:  Does joint physical and legal custody to my spouse give the rights for my spouse to be present with me on every doctor's visit?

A:  David's Answer:  Theoretically yes, as s/he would have a right to be present at such events. That said, if it's just a normal check-up, one wouldn't think s/he would wish to be present for everything. That said, the terms of any agreement are subject to negotiation and greater specification.
